SUMMIT ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCES TWILIGHT SEQUEL - NEW MOON
Los Angeles, CA November 22, 2008 — Summit Entertainment announced today that the studio is officially moving forward with the production of NEW MOON, the second installment of its filmed franchise TWILIGHT, the action-packed, modern day vampire love story. The movie will be based on the second novel in author Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series titled, New Moon. The first movie in the TWILIGHT franchise, the self-titled TWILIGHT, arrived in theaters this weekend to sold-out showings.
Stephenie Meyer stated, "I don't think any other author has had a more positive experience with the makers of her movie adaptation than I have had with Summit Entertainment. I'm thrilled to have the chance to work with them again on NEW MOON."

Crazy Saturday
About 20 minutes later I hear a crash!!! It sounded like a dresser or bookshelf fell over. I called out Emily's name and ran to see what it was. I didn't hear her respond and I didn't hear her crying. The only thing I could imagine is she was reaching for something and it fell. I was screaming and running to get to her. I get to the spare room/playroom/Emily's second bedroom (which she named it lol) and she is like "mommy I'm ok, whats wrong". Hmmm I am now wondering what the heck happened. When I was headed up to see Emily I also saw one of my cats run for cover under my bed-he was still there so I knew something happened! Emily and I walked around the house and looked in each room and saw nothing. I then checked each closet thinking a shelf fell. Nothing!! The house seemed completely fine. I am totally confused and decide to go back to reading. I can't read because I know something happened. So I get up and look out my french doors in the family room. While looking outside I see some small branches in the middle of my yard. I knew the lawn was just mowed so where did they come from? I look from side to side and see nothing. Then I was like wait a minute....I looked to the left again and saw it. A tree fell onto our shed and deck. I freaked because I couldn't see if it landed on the house too. I ran up stairs to the dining room and looked out the sliders and saw this.
Its hard to show you how crazy it is from the pictures, when you look out the sliders all you can see is the top of a very huge tree and it tippity tops of the tree is like 5 inches from my slider door. I went outside to investigate and took more pics and saw that the house wasn't hit at all. But the poor shed holy cow. Smashed!! Check it out!!
After trying to reach my Hubby and Father in law and lots of pictures. Trying to stop Em from crying (she thought we were stuck in the house forever). I did get my book and enjoyed the rest of that crazy Saturday!

Cake leftover from Friday, birthday party Sunday, Wed I made food for my meeting and Thurs girls night out at April's! So today I decided to weigh in anyway....I lost .2lbs. After the week I had with food I will take that!! I already logged my breakfast and am ready to log all my pts this week. Hopefully next week will be a better loss.

Reviews
After the past few days, you are all aware that I am a HUGE Twilight fan (addict). I am anxious to see the movie. My husband and I will see it ,probably, Tues night. I've read some of the reviews that people have written who have already seen it. People who never read the books seem to like it. Fans of the books have been writing bad reviews. Now we all know that movies are rarely as good as the books. I never thought I would go and see the movie and love it as much as the books. I am glad, however, that I did read the books first so I was able to completely get lost in the story. The way I look at it is....the movie is just a companion to the books. Another way for us to get more of Edward and Bella. I hate when people have to be sooooo negative. I just hope it is a good movie, I have no expectations. I just hope my husband doesn't hate it and look at me like I am crazy because all I have been doing for the past few days is reading these books. LOL

busy, busy, busy
This week was crazy. We did so much around the house. I can't believe that I didn't post once, UGH!! I lost 1.4lbs this week. I am glad I lost but was hoping for a little more. Losing is losing I have to tell myself.
I am also trying to find the time to finish Twilight. I am in the middle of the book and I want to see the movie so badly. Today is rainy and dark maybe I can finish today since the house is clean and we did so much during the week. I can't believe that this book makes me smile. Like when Edward just showed up at her house to bring her to school or to walk her to class, I felt like I was in high school and a boy liked me. LOL!!! (tried not to talk too much about the book since everyone hasn't read it)
Hope everyone has a great weekend...........

I made this for dinner tonight. Yummy! Jim found it in the WW web site's recipes. I should have taken a picture, but I was hungry...LOL
9pts per slice
Ingredients:
1/2 pound(s) uncooked boneless, skinless chicken breast, cubed
1/2 cup(s) barbecue sauce
16 oz pizza crust, pre-baked
1 1/2 cup(s) shredded reduced-fat Mexican-style cheese
7 1/2 oz canned black beans, drained and rinsed (half a 15 oz can)
1 small onion(s), red, finely chopped
1 tbsp cilantro, chopped
Directions:
Place rack in center of oven. Preheat to 450ºF.
Spray a nonstick skillet and stir-fry chicken over medium-high heat, about 10 minutes. Transfer chicken to medium-size bowl and toss with half barbecue sauce.
Place pizza crust on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with 3/4 cup cheese. Arrange chicken and black beans over crust; sprinkle with onion and cilantro. Drizzle with remaining barbecue sauce; add remaining 3/4 cup cheese.

I thought why not a cup of green beans no points. So I need snack ideas, meal ideas.....HELP PLEASE!! I hate to try recipes off of ww website and not like them, which ones have you tried and loved?????

Beautiful Day!!
Could today be more beautiful? Emily slept in, we had a quick meeting at our local cafe and walked over to our fire house to vote. They had two lines a-l and m-z...I live on a k street so I went into that line.....the SHORT line. The m-z line was out the door, a-l no one was in line. I like the new way to vote, I used to get all panicky thinking "now how does this booth work?".
On the school front, we hired a new teacher's aide. I think she is great! I think this is a very good thing!!!
On the dieting front. The Halloween candy is killing me. I am not a huge chocolate eater, but for some reason they are calling my name. Last night I had a bag of peanut m&m's. This morning I felt guilty because I REALLY want to lose weight this time around. I want to be me again, I feel like I am me trapped in someone else's shell. It's amazing what 30lbs could do to someone. I was overweight when I had Emily, although I was uncomfortable I still felt like me. After I stopped nursing I packed on an extra 30lbs (+ sometimes) and I felt SO NOT ME!! Well because of the guilt I stepped on the scale this morning-which I usually don't do my first week dieting- I lost 2lbs YAY!! I am so excited!! add that to my already lost 6lbs and woohoo 8lbs that is freaking awesome!! I feel like I have to incentive to not eat the candy now!!
Keri- YES YES YES I am sooooo up for walks in the spring!! and "Country" play dates!! We can check out each other's towns.

Happy Monday! UGH.... I hate Mondays. I used to always think that Mondays stunk because I had to get up and go to work. Nope. Even when you work, Mondays stink!!
Here she is ready for school. They don't wear their costumes to school. They do, however, dress as princesses and knights. The teachers don't want any of the kids to frighten the other with scary outfits. You'd think with pre-schoolers you wouldn't have to worry about that. But you do!! Don't you love the poofy princess hair-lol.
And here are our Jack O' lanterns. The littel pumpkin Emily grew at my Grandfather's house. She loved scribbling the faces on the pumpkins while Mommy tried to make it look like what she drew...They came out cute I think!! (oh and excuse the leftover streamers from LAST tuesday for Jim's bday)
