Big Day!!

Emily got her ears pierced this morning. She had been asking about it for some time now. I wasn't sure when was the right time. I knew it would happen some day. After talking to another Mom at dance class I found out that her pediatrician did it, so I called and made an appointment. They were so nice. She cried of course, but she is thrilled!!!
I tried to get a cute picture of her face, but she wasn't having it. So here is her pretty pink earring! By the way, you never notice how different your kids ears are until you look at them...not the same shape and even a bit lopsided- oh but they are cute ears.

Aww! Congrats on the rite of passage!!

(I pierced ears at Claire's for 3 years - everyone cries - some cool men even pass out)

I had 5 piercings done - all at the pediatricians office :) The only one that wasn't done there, was the top cartilidge one I had done with you.

Beautiful earring! I had mine done when I was 10, after the first one I did not want the second, until I got promises of ice cream lol

Very cute! Bon and I were 10 years old when Mom finally allowed to get our ears pierced and we couldn't stop looking at them in the mirror!

What a brave girl! I didn't get mine done til I was 19. And if I wasn't afraid of looking ridiculous, I would have refused to let them do my second ear. That freaking hurts!
